This week we again note with sorrow the passing away of a towering personality in Bhogaraju Ramarao garu. We pay our respects to the patriarch who passed away.
This week it is Balakanda Sarga 62. Viswamitra moves to western parts for his penance after the failure of his penance in the Southern parts. AS he moves west, we have the "Sunassephaakhyaanam ! or the story of Sunahsepha !The story started in Sarga 61. Then it concludes in Sarga 62 .
As we celebrate Gandhi Jayanti , we can look back on the Gita Yagnya being conducted by us and realize how much Gandhi was inspired by Gita.
In Bhagavadgita we have moved to Chapter 4 , the famous Jnyana Yoga. The slokas of Jnyana yoga and as well as our commentary or elaboration of the Jnayana yoga are presented. When we writing a flowing commentary there is a chance or fear that all the slokas of the chapter may not have been covered . A summary of Jnyana Yoga in line with slokas is also included . In fact it is like a quick summary of chapter 4. Since we have deliberately set a pace of one chapter every month you can expect more articles on Jnyana Yoga in the next couple of weeks. Earlier we had an article on the "why" of Karmayoga under one more thing. This time we have an article "Karmayoga for whom" meaning that it is for us the commoners!!
The Bhagavadgita home page too gets updated . We could not suppress our delight in creating Sankhya Yoga for the kasarabada.org pages ! So we added three more pages or notes on related Topics : Moksha ; Nishkama karma , Vedavadarataah. Our excitement spilled over on to " one more thing " pages as you can elsewhere on this page !
We have multilingual pages. An important part of language pages is Telugu. The Telugu home page is restructured . We want all our Telugu visitors to visit the new Telugu page. We created pages for Telugu Balakanda, Telugu Bhagavadgita and Subbalakshmi gari kalamlO. These are in addition to the earlier Vijayraghavrao gari Sundarakanda.
We are excited.
